Vanessa Torres, PT, DPT

Vanessa earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Franklin Pierce University in 2014, where she completed several clinical affiliations in orthopedics and pediatrics. Demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge and skill, she earned designation as a Board-Certified Specialist in Orthopedics (OCS) and also possesses designation as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Vanessa has treated patients of all ages in a variety of clinical areas including post-operative, orthopedics, sports, geriatrics, and pelvic rehabilitation. She has taken extensive coursework in pelvic floor/girdle dysfunction through Herman & Wallace pelvic rehabilitation institute and is currently working toward certification as a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner (PRPC). She practices an evidence-based, patient-centered approach to treatment, with a strong emphasis on therapeutic exercise, postural/core stability, functional manual therapy and movement training. Outside of the clinic, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her ball retrieval technician, Frankie, hiding vegetables in her kids’ food, and exploring the PNW.
