Tyler received both his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Allied Health at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, and just recently moved to Washougal. He has been working primarily in outpatient orthopedic settings for nearly 5 years treating a wide variety of conditions and injuries. He enjoys working with the broad diversity of conditions seen in the outpatient setting, with particular interest in back pain, vestibular dysfunction, and TMJ (jaw) pain.
Tyler utilizes an eclectic approach to patient evaluation and treatment. He emphasizes education first and foremost, with manual therapy and exercise as the main tools of choice for helping patients get back on track, achieve goals, and live more active lifestyles. He has great respect for the human body’s remarkable capacity to adapt and heal, and view physical therapy as a collaboration between patient and therapist working together toward a common goal.
Outside the clinic, Tyler greatly values time with his wife and family. He loves anything to do with the outdoors, as well as woodworking, blacksmithing, and hiking.
